Dead By Daylight is a four vs one horror game where one person takes on the role of an evil killer while the other four take on the roles of survivors, trying to escape the Killer. As a Survivor, your job is to complete five out of the seven generators while also taking your teammates off meat hooks and healing them back to the Healthy state, while hiding from the killer

The killer’s role in this game is to swiftly down all four survivors and put them on a meat hook, where they will then be sacrificed to something called “The Entity”. This is shown when they are sacrificed as huge black octopus limbs come down from the sky to pick up the survivors soul and carry it back up. The killer must sacrifice all four survivors before they are able to complete all five generators and escape through the front door. If they do not succeed, this will be counted as a loss. There are many advantages called Perks in the game that gives the survivor or killer different powers, such as being able to run away at 150% speed for three seconds.

Is Dead By Daylight safe for young kids?

I feel that if a child can handle on-screen blood and weapons, it should be fine for any kid over the age of 10. I truly believe that this game can be played by a variety of ages. There are barely any voice lines in the game at the time of recording, and only one of these very few voice lines actually has a swear word inside it. As long as they do not stream or have any from of social media linked to Dead By Daylight, they shouldn’t have to worry about anyone insulting them, or try to insult them.

You may also need to deal with other players like hackers, or “trolls” where they do everything they can to ruin the game for other people.

Overall, Dead by Daylight is a very fun strategy game that I think has a lot of potential, it just needs to keep on going. There are many bugs in the game, but that may not be a bad thing as they are quite funny. I play Dead By Daylight, and I do not regret it in the slightest.
