Netherite is found as a block called ancient debris. This block is in the Nether and can be found in groups of one, two, or three. You can only mine ancient debris with a diamond pickaxe.
Once you have four ancient debris, you will need to smelt them.To get netherite,you will also need to get four gold ingots. Once you get these things and put them in a crafting table however you like, then you can get your netherite!
Netherite is commonly found in groups of one or two, but if you go under y=22 you are able to find groups of three. There is one group of ancient debris every chunk, meaning every 16×16 blocks you mine, you just passed ancient debris somewhere. Since it is so hard to get netherite, players have found ways to mine ancient debris faster. Two of the ways are very similar.
The first one is using TNT, as netherite cannot be blown up and is an efficient way to get rid of blocks around the area. Others that are more efficient with their resources are able to use beds. In the Nether, you cannot sleep as the bed will explode if you try. People use this in mines and explode what they can find. Another way is to use efficiency diamond pickaxes, as they can rip through netherrack faster than someone in creative mode could.
Once you do these things, you will be able to have your netherite!
