Elytra. This is one of the best items to show your friends in Minecraft. The question is, how do you get it?
The elytra can be found in the End City. The End City is found after defeating the ender dragon. If you search around the island, you will find a purple beam of light showing you a portal inside a bedrock cage. The only way into the portal is by ender pearling.
Once you are in the portal, it will send you to an End City. In the End City, you will need to find a floating ship that looks like this:
There will be multiple mobs called shulkers around this and the City, the reason they are dangerous is that when they hit you they give you a potion effect called levitation. This makes you fly for 10 seconds. Once you are able to get past all of the shulkers and get into the ship, you will find two chests with an item frame in the middle. The item in the item frame will be holding the elytra.
That is your elytra. Have fun flying around your world!
